THE OPPORTUNITY: 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
 
• Preparation of review and notice to reader working paper files, including unaudited financial statements; including basic bookkeeping if required to complete the files.
• Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
• Preparation of financial statements and notes thereto.
• Planning and execution of external audits.
• Performance of financial and systems analysis.
• Preparation of engagement budgets.
• Coaching and mentor junior team members.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and their staff.

THE SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS: 

A successful candidate will possess the following skills and behaviours:

• Successful completion of the UFE and holding or working towards a CA designation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently, with little supervision and within a team environment.
• Project management and organizational skills; ability toprioritize and manage multiple tasks, within budgets and deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients' business and develop client relationships.
• High level of motivation and professionalism.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel.
• Experience with Caseware and tax preparation programs would be beneficial.
