THE OPPORTUNITY: 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
 
• Bookkeeping as required for client engagements.
• Preparation of notice to reader working paper files, including unaudited financial statements.
• Preparation of payroll schedules, T4s, and T5s.
• Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and their staff.

THE SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS: 

A successful candidate will possess the following skills and behaviours:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Effectively plans and organizes own work effort.
• Develops effective working relationships with clients.
• Proficiency with Bookkeeping software such as, QuickBooks and Simply Accounting and Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Experience with Caseware and tax preparation programs would be beneficial.
